Barn Quilt Painting Workshop
Friday August 6th and Saturday August 6th, 10:00AM – 4:00PM (2 sessions)
The Barn, Woman’s Art Club Cultural Center, 6980 Cambridge Avenue
In this workshop you will be given a pre-primed panel, a selection of designs and lots of paint so that you can create your very own two-foot square wood barn block panel, suitable to hang outdoors.
Required kit ($35)
• Plastic sheeting, vinyl table cloth, etc. to cover the table.
• An apron or old shirt to protect your nice clothes.
• Painter’s tape. Green (NOT YELLOW) “Frog” brand is by far the best, but blue Scotch tape will do. Narrower tape (about 1 inch) is preferred.
• Yardstick or 24” ruler
• Blow dryer with extension cord for every 2-3 people. NOTE: these are to be used on the COOL setting (no heat), so be sure to test that your dryer has that.
This workshop is $50.00 for members. Non-members will be required to pay an additional $10.00 non-member fee. Additional $35 supply fee, payable to Suzi at class
