Join us for an action packed “Play before you Pay Creative Grids® event. All rulers and fabrics are provided so you can make four to five different blocks – and learn additional techniques – in a fun and easy class.
Piece a “Scrap Crazy” block in a matter of minutes. See why this is the perfect place to showcase those decorative stitches on your machine while watching a demonstration of a unique quilt-as-you-go technique. Learn how to make Straight Out of Line blocks and why it is the ideal choice for a group project. Make perfect “Flying Geese” blocks by trimming them AFTER you sew those bias edges. Create an eight petal Dresden plate with rounded petals – no needle turning required!
Supplies you need to bring:
Bring a sewing machine with a ¼” foot and neutral thread; a rotary cutter and basic sewing supplies. Since you will only be sewing short seams, sharing a machine with a friend is not a problem. Mats, rulers, pencils and fabric kits are provided at the demo stations for $8 per person.
This workshop is $35.00 for members. Non-members will be required to pay an additional $10.00 non-member fee.
