Class Description
If every straight line is identical, every free curve might be considered unique. What curves do you naturally cut? Let’s explore the range, depth and complexity of curves, and learn to piece them beautifully so your work will press perfectly flat.

Supply List
Basic sewing supplies, including pins & fabric scissors
Rotary cutting supplies (mat, cutter with new blade) medium sized
Fabric marking pens/pencils (chalk, Frixion, your favorites)
Thread: cotton (neutral to your fabric)
Iron and large surface to iron on, such as an old towel
Sewing machine in good working order, equipped with a new sharp needle (not universal).
We will use only a straight stitch, but “hands free” (knee lift or hover) and engaged even feed features are helpful.
Fabric: 10 or more quarter- to half-yards of solid-colored fabric in a pleasing range, including some that read dark, some light, and a few in between.
Members may take this class for $60 plus $1.50 credit card processing fee; Non-members must add this non-member workshop fee.
