Combine Scrap Fabrics, Raw Edge Applique, Free Motion Top Stitching and Basic Quilting to create quilt top with a striking and modern look.

A Scrappy Applique Kit will be available for sale ($24) at the class.
Alternatively, you may bring your own 2.5 yds fusible web (Mistyfuse recommended), 2 yds lightweight light weight fusible interfacing (Pellon 906f recommended), and 1 yd tear away iron-on stabilizer (Sulky Totally Stable recommended).
Fabrics for the applique (5 – 10 fat eighths would be perfect)
Background fabric. 30” x 40” wall hanging -1 yard, 36” x 54” crib size – 1-1/2 yards, 50” x 60” lap size – 3 yards. As an option, you may create a pieced background at home and bring it to class.
Thread that coordinates with the applique collage, and bobbin thread
Large Teflon sheet or parchment paper
Sewing machine
Iron and large surface to iron on, such as an old towel
Scissors
Rotary cutter
Straight pins
Basting pins
Marking tool

This workshop is $50.00 + $1.50 credit card processing fee for members. Non-members will be required to pay an additional $10.50 (includes credit card processing fee) non-member fee.
